ABOUT DCR

DCR (Data Cash Register) has been in business since 1984.  Our headquarters is located in Columbus, Georgia with a satellite office in Macon, Georgia.  We are locally owned and operated. We have a full time sales and support team. In the 1980s, our product line included restaurant systems, counter service, and table service applications. We also started with the POS systems. In the 1990s, we again added to our product line due to the fact that many of our customers requested that security cameras be interfaced to their cash registers. That is when we started selling , installing, and servicing CCTV systems and text inserters (to interface the cameras to the registers). We now sell digital video recorders, network video recorders, PC based and stand alone units, that have off site capability via the Internet. We provide a wide range of security cameras: inside, outside, covert, and PTZ (pan tilt zoom). We provide professional installation and support for the systems we sell. Our clientele base includes industries, hospitals, schools, public utilities, grocery stores, restaurants, convenience stores, . Word of mouth advertising and repeat customers are due to the fact that we know support and service after the sale is as important as the sale itself.
